A series of unusual events...

miss_squiddySo yesterday I headed off to the cinema with Helen, Merthyr Simon, Rich and Mark to see 'Hellboy' and it was good: Hellboy had all the wit and charisma that Riddick ought to have had - and the film itself was comic-book-pretty.
Anyway, on our way to the cinema as we turned to corner just by Next, we found a young kestrel (we think) and a thrush both just sitting on the ground together looking a bit stunned. We figured the kestrel had been chasing the thrush and they'd both smashed into the shop window. So the RSPCA were called out and we got to the cinema a little late.
Helen and Simon already had their tickets but Mark, Rich and I had to queue for ages and guess what? We bought the last three. How lucky was that? Go us!
